Any non-compliance may lead to delays, rejection, or cancellation of the application. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all required documents and business operations align with FSSAI guidelines. Since FSSAI guidelines may change from time to time, applicants are advised to check the FSSAI official website (fssai.gov.in) or contact us for updated compliance requirements.

(o) Registration License Renewal Policy

If the client provides a Registration License for renewal but the license has already expired, no refund shall be issued. A Registration License can be renewed within 30–45 days before expiration and up to 6 months after expiry, subject to government rules. However, if the renewal is applied after the expiry date, government late fees/penalties will be applicable, which the client must bear separately. If the license remains unrenewed beyond the allowed grace period, a new registration application must be submitted as per applicable regulations. The payment made for renewal services will not be adjusted or refunded in such cases.

(p) In Case of Inaccessible Registered Mobile Number and Email

If the client does not have access to the registered mobile number and email associated with their license, we can assist in applying for a new license. Alternatively, they may contact the relevant department to request a change of email ID and mobile number. However, our primary recommendation in such cases is to apply for a new license to ensure a smoother process.

(q) Credentials Access During Notice Resolution

If you require the assistance of our experts in resolving any notices or queries raised by the concerned Food Department, it is essential that you do not change or revoke access to your registered credentials (such as login details, email ID, or mobile number) until the license has been successfully issued or renewed.

Changing credentials during the resolution process may interrupt communication with the department, delay the process, or make it impossible for the experts to act on your behalf. In such cases, we will not be held responsible for any delay or rejection caused due to credential changes made by the client.

(r) Authorization to File Application on Government Portal on Your Behalf

By availing our services, you confirm that you have no objection to experts filing the application on the respective government portal on your behalf for the purpose of obtaining the required license or registration. You also authorize experts to collect necessary documents, information, OTPs and declarations from you to complete the process. This consent is given with the assurance that the details provided by you are accurate and complete. Once the documents are received and the application is filed on the government portal, the service shall be considered successfully delivered.

(s) Confirmation-Based Service Initiation & Refund Ineligibility

Upon receipt of payment, our system sends a confirmation email requesting verification of service details. If the client replies to this email with confirmation—either by explicitly approving the information/documents or by requesting to proceed with the same service for which payment was made—it shall be deemed as final consent to initiate the service process.

Once such confirmation is received, the service is considered "commenced," and our system will begin to assign the appropriate expert(s) as per the submitted information form. Subject to other specific refund conditions outlined in the Refund Policy (such as the 15-day service delay guarantee), refund requests are generally not entertained after such confirmation has been received, including situations where the client subsequently fails to provide documents, information, or cooperation required to complete the process.

(t) Complaints Filed with Government Authorities

In the event that a client raises a complaint against our business with any government department, regulatory authority, or consumer forum, and such authority formally approaches us for resolution or clarification, we shall treat the matter with utmost priority and provide a prompt and transparent response to the concerned department.

However, we also reserve the right to defend ourselves fully, including presenting supporting evidence, client communication, payment records, and service logs, to establish that our conduct has been lawful, ethical, and aligned with our Terms & Conditions.

In such cases, no direct refund shall be processed until the client formally confirms that the complaint or dispute raised with the concerned authority has been closed or withdrawn. We do not entertain any refund negotiations while an official complaint remains open with any regulatory or legal body.

(u) License Validity Clause

The applicant affirms that the FSSAI Registration License for which professional assistance is being sought has a remaining validity period of no less than ten (10) days from the date of submitting this application. The applicant understands and agrees that this minimum time frame is required to help ensure adequate processing and service delivery by the engaged professional specialist. Failure to comply may result in the inability to provide the requested services, for which Foodlicenseportal.org shall bear no responsibility.

(v) Expert Role and Government Discretion

The role of the assigned experts is strictly limited to assisting and guiding the client in completing the required documentation and application process on the concerned Food Department portal. This includes helping with form filling, document preparation, and submission based on the information provided by the client.

However, the final approval, rejection, or issuance of the license—whether new or renewal—rests solely with the respective Government Department and its authorized officials. Neither Foodlicenseportal.org nor the assigned expert shall be held responsible or liable for delays, rejections, or any decision made by the government authorities.

(w) Service Adjustment and Refund Policy

Refund requests shall not be entertained if you want services other than Registration License (State License and Central License) from experts. However, we shall give you the option of adjusting the amount paid by you for a State License or Central License service (which costs an additional ₹3,500, excluding government fees).

(x) "Urgent Form"

Submitting an Urgent Form does not mean that your work is urgent. It simply means that you are providing only a few basic details because you may not have enough time or a complete idea to fill out the full form. This helps us quickly connect you with the right experts to assist further.

(y) "FSSAI Terminology Clarification- Fssai Registration License"

The term “FSSAI Registration License” used on this website refers only to FSSAI Registration as defined under the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011, framed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

The word “license” is used purely for explanatory and communication purposes to make it easier for clients to understand. In general usage, clients often consider the word “license” more formal than “registration” or “certificate,” and they may ask whether they will receive an official document (“paper”) or if it is just a simple registration, like opening an account.

To clarify this common confusion, we use the combined term “FSSAI Registration License.”

This term does not imply or represent that a separate or additional FSSAI License is being issued or applied for. All services offered under this heading strictly relate to FSSAI Registration only, applicable to petty or small food businesses as per the relevant FSSAI laws and regulations.
